AlMaghrib

Ramadan Kareem to all my Muslim Brothers and Sister!

As most of you know I am a Muslim, strongly believe in my faith. With all religions you have a climax and a decrease in faith, it is but natural. I was VERY privileged to be able to go to Atlanta, GA to attend a lecture about Sahih Bukhari ( For all you who do not know who Sahih Bukhari is... He is a  Muslim scholar birth name was Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari. He compiled the Hadith of the Prophet(PBUH), which for Muslims is a major part of the religion). AlMaghrib is an institution that is in the US and around different countries in the world that teach Islam to the people. It is not like most lectures you attend, it is an intense but VERY spiritual lecture. I have never left a lecture and have the same feeling that AlMaghrib provided me! I attended this class last week, I pray that months to come I still feel the high faith I am feeling to improve myself. I would highly ENCOURAGE anyone and everyone to attend a class!

They will have a webcast tomorrow online. If you want a taste of Almaghrib visit their LIVE Broadcast online!!!

In addition to this live broadcast they have many youtube channels from their different scholars!

An EXPERIENCE that you can not explain with words, is an experience you should share with the world!

What you NEED TO KNOW!

UNCC Wednesday March 28th 6pm at the BELK TOWER! BE THERE TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!!!!

I am not sure if everyone has been following what is going on in the news lately. It is really unfortunate events. Started with Trayvon Martin being shot and killed because he was suspected to be "suspicious". Following this event Saturday March 24th Shaima Al Awadi was beaten with a tire iron because she was a "terrorist". Where has Justice gone? WHY ARE INNOCENT PEOPLE BEING KILLED?!

I am making this event because I would like to help awareness and stand up for what I believe in. I would like to photograph females with hijabs on and a hoody/without hoodies. Also, if guys would like to join they can just wear hoodies with the hood up. We can do these in public spaces or in the photography studio. I feel like conceptual doing these out on public streets would get the message around in a better manner...

I was inspired through a friend when she showed me this picture, which you can look at on... http://dedazaghari.tumblr.com/post/19936302980/empirestateofnoor-hoodies-n-hijabs-stand-up#notes

For further Information about location please comment with times and where you think is best for you!
LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE DOWN

The girls will be in hijabs and hoodies, or just hijabs and the guys will be in Hoodies. If you do not want to wear either you may choose to just have a piece of tape with RIPJustice, RIPTrayvon, or RIPshaima on it!

COME OUT! INSPIRATION CAME FROM THIS PICTURE.

Photographs

Here are just some random photographs I have taken this year.

F4mily Matters

A good friend of mine has his own clothing line. I wanted to make this blog just to support him. I think he has a prospective future ahead of him. The line is very creative. I fully support this brand because I love what they are reppin' and got to support my Muslim Brother Samir Hamid

About the line from the creatures:
"F4mily Matters, a family business building an empire. We are nothing less than a brand but more than just a clothing line. We are a lifestyle brand that depicts the meaning of F4mily & what it takes to feed them. F4mily is not only a group of loved ones, but a way of life. It consists of relatives, close ones, & brotherhoods. F4mily is the # 1 motivation for the hustle. With that said, loyalty is the stepping stool that sets us on the top shelf. With constant reminders to self, no matter where you go or how you eat, F4mily Matters."

Here some photographs from their Facebook :
